Moser winery
We’re the proud owners of a top wine estate on South Tyrol’s wine scene: Moser winery. Our renowned cellar master, Gerhard Sanin, is at the heart of our success. His profound knowledge and philosophy are woven into every aspect of our wine cultivation. With the help of modern cellar technology, we transform distinctive grapes into first-class wines with high storability. For us, the winery of our hotel in South Tyrol is a real dream come true. Discover the variety of this terroir with us.

Step inside the cellar with Benita
Once a week, SEELEITEN guests are invited to discover the Tenuta Moser Winery. Their host is Benita Moser, part of the new generation leading the family winery and brewery. She personally guides guests through the cellars, sharing stories about grape varieties, vintages and the craft behind every bottle.
And naturally, there is plenty to taste: around five wines and one or two Mendelbier craft beers. The experience lasts approximately two hours. Current dates can be found in the weekly programme, and guests can sign up directly at reception.

From the vineyard to SEELEITEN
Wines from Moser Winery are simply part of life at SEELEITEN. As an aperitif on the Piazzetta, paired with dinner or enjoyed over a relaxed glass at the bar.
Some of the grapes even grow just around the corner: the Lagrein Rosé comes from the vineyards beside the Lake House, only a few metres from Lake Caldaro. That's Lake Lifestyle in a glass.

Two lakes set the tone
Our vineyards stretch around Lake Caldaro and the Monticolo Lakes. The warmer sites near Lake Caldaro are where the red grapes thrive, while higher up, the mineral-rich soils of Monticolo provide ideal conditions for the white varieties.
In the cellar, these grapes become a small but distinctive collection: from fresh Sovi Gris, Sauvignon and Chardonnay to Kalterersee, Lagrein Rosé and full-bodied Lagrein Riserva. Each wine has its own personality, but all speak with an unmistakably South Tyrolean accent.

From Caldaro to the sea
Our second winery lies in Alta Maremma, near Gavorrano and overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Here, Tuscany shows its slightly wilder side: mineral-rich soils, warm days, cool nights and a constant breeze from the sea.
Gerhard Sanin has made the move south too. Having worked alongside our family for many years, he now looks after the wines at Tenuta Poggio al Rigoloccio.
So much more than a regular winery …
Besides the winery itself, Moser winery also has five apartments with private garden and access to the private beach on Lake Caldaro/Kalterer See, a winery shop with lots of local delicacies, and (since 2020) a little craft brewery.
