One of Germany’s most exciting young fine dining talents is coming to SEELEITEN
As summer at Lake Caldaro reaches its most beautiful time of year, the days grow longer, the lake sparkles in the warm evening light, and Mediterranean ease meets the calm of the Alps. It is during these special weeks that SEELEITEN – Lake Spa Hotel invites guests to experience Gourmet am See — a celebration of fine cuisine, relaxed summer living and unforgettable moments by the water.
From June 28 to July 12, 2026, SEELEITEN becomes a destination for exceptional culinary experiences, lakeside wellbeing and carefully curated summer highlights. The star of this year’s edition is Aniello Casalino, who will join SEELEITEN for two exclusive gourmet evenings.
On July 1 and July 9, the young chef will create two extraordinary Michelin-star dinners inspired by Mediterranean flavours, modern fine dining techniques and refined Italian elegance. Since 2025, Casalino has been leading the kitchen at the Favorite Restaurant in Mainz and is widely regarded as one of the most promising names of Germany’s new culinary generation.
His cuisine is precise yet emotional, sophisticated yet effortlessly light. Over the years, his journey has taken him through some of Europe’s most renowned kitchens, including the legendary La Pergola, awarded three Michelin stars, as well as the prestigious Traube Tonbach. Today, he is known for reimagining Italian classics with creativity, elegance and a distinctly contemporary touch.

But Gourmet am See is about far more than exceptional cuisine. It is a summer lifestyle shaped by the lake, the vineyards and the relaxed Mediterranean spirit of South Tyrol.
Mornings begin with gentle yoga sessions by the water, while Lake Caldaro is still perfectly calm and the first sunlight slowly reaches the shoreline. Guided SUP tours lead guests across the peaceful lake to the SEELEITEN Lake Park on the opposite shore — a light and relaxing experience, ideal even for beginners.
Early risers can look forward to sunrise hikes with breathtaking views across the awakening Alpine landscape, including coffee served at the summit.

Wine also plays an essential role throughout these special weeks. During personal tastings hosted by the Moser family, guests discover the character, origin and stories behind the estate’s own wines.
The Gourmet Nights themselves are accompanied by elegant aperitivo moments, carefully selected wine pairings and soft live music from piano and guitar — creating an atmosphere that feels refined, intimate and effortlessly relaxed.
Summer Night Concert with a BBQ by the lake
Another highlight of the programme is the summernight concert at the private lakeside setting of the SEELEITEN Lake House. Guests enjoy an unforgettable evening with a flying buffet, BBQ specialities, atmospheric live music and a warm summer breeze directly by the lake. Alternatively, the classic 5-course gourmet menu in the hotel restaurant remains available. Attendance for the Lake House event is limited to 80 guests and included at no additional cost. A complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and the Lake House runs throughout the evening.
